🏛️ A Stop Steeped in History

This building dates back to 1849, when it was constructed by Robert Sanders. It didn't start out as the Port Admiral Hotel, either — it first opened under the name "Railway Hotel," a nod to a horse-drawn railway line that was planned for the area at the time.

🔵 Spot the Plaque, Play the Piano

Look out for the blue historic plaque on the building — a mark of its heritage status and a little piece of Port Adelaide history hiding in plain sight.

And if you're feeling musical, take a seat at the piano out front — it's there for anyone to play, so give it a go and have a little fun because thats what a picnic trail is all about.
